Pipeline Company Published Book on Long-distance Oil and Gas Pipeline Industry Management

China Petroleum Network News, August 13, the book "Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Legal Risks in the Long-distance Oil and Gas Pipeline Industry" written by the Pipeline Company and published by the Law Press was officially issued. This is the first book on legal risk prevention and control published by the long-distance oil and gas pipeline industry. It systematically categorized the legal risks and prevention faced in specific business and enterprise management with the perspective and logic of oil and gas pipeline enterprise manager.

In recent years, China's oil and gas pipeline industry has entered a period of vigorous development, but there are also many problems during the development. As the enterprise's own operation and management capabilities fails to meet the demand of rapid construction and operation, the inherent system risks, especially the legal risks, are increasingly severe.

As the first professional oil and gas pipeline operation and management enterprise in China, Pipeline Company has accumulated rich management experience along with China's development in long-distance oil and gas pipelines from scratch. With the cooperation of external organizations, the company's legal staff has comprehensively and systematically analyzed the legal environment of the industry, and identified potential legal risks in preliminary planning, construction approval, pipeline construction, construction quality &safety management, contract management, labor, among other business activities and corporate management, then presented in this book. 

The book consists of four parts and twelve chapters. The first part is the research background, mainly introduces the development history and current situation of China's long-distance oil and gas pipeline industry, and explains the main legal environment of the industry and the necessity of legal risk prevention and control. The second is the pipeline construction, mainly introduces the legal risks and prevention in long-distance oil and gas pipeline construction. The third part is pipeline operation, mainly introduces the legal risks and prevention in long-distance oil and gas pipeline operation. The fourth part is corporate management, mainly introduces the legal risks and prevention in corporate management. The publication of this book is a milestone in prevention and control of legal risks for pipeline companies.
